Scuderia Ferrari is the name of Ferrari's official formula one racing team. Scuderia in Italian means a stable for racing horses . Scuderia Ferrari was started by Enzo Ferrari while he was working at Alfa Romeo. Due to certain disagreements Alfa and Enzo ferrari parted ways and Enzo was prevented from using the name Scuderia Ferrari for the next few years.  In 1939 ferrari started work on his own race car called the Tipo 815
